The Pickle Jar Theory and my Pickle Jar

Last month I bought two new favor of crunchy pickle, the aroma of Green Curry or Indian Special or something like this... yet it makes me puke, I cannot stand it! Yet I still like pickle, the origin favor and other favors that is not too strange.

Well, I am not going to talk about pickle, but a tme management theory named "The Pickle Jar", I heard of it when I was at PKU, yet I didn't really practise it even once, today I read an article of JEREMY WRIGHT, I decides to practise it from now on.

Here I made my new schedule :

8:00 figure out rocks for the day (literally, this is what it says!) and deal with emergencies.
8:30 read french loundly.
9:45 Arrive GE, do GE Project.

12:00 Learn advanced sujet related to JAVA and database.
16:30 Read articles about Web Design and Cool Tools.
19:00 AFCP Project.
23:00 French and Read Web Design Articles.

My Rocks : GE Project, AFCP Project. JAVA/Database Learing, French Learning.

My Pepples: Web Design, New Tools, Explore Interest Website, Writing technical and personal blog, reading book, exercising like Tennis and Ping Pong, Brainstorm for new idea and new project that interests me.

My Sand: Go out for theater and exposition. Meet new friends, maintain contact with old friends and family, check email, watching movie.

My Water: All kinds of emergency things, other leisure entertainment, shopping.

Time Management

Today I learn several skills of time management :
1.Concentrate on results, not on being
busy
2.Concentrate as much of your time and energy as
possible on the high payoff tasks.
(80:20 Rule: 80% of unfocussed effort generates
only 20% of results. The remaining 80% of results are achieved
with only 20% of the effort. )
3.For me, my time cost 50 euros/day, I work for GE 5 hour per day, so my value is 10 euros per hour.
4.Move your job towards doing things
that you enjoy. Almost every job has tedious or unpleasant elements
to it - it is important that these parts are done properly. And
it is up to you to minimize the time you spend doing tedious jobs.
5.concentrate on doing well in the areas your BOSS considers to be most important.
6. Six questions
What is the purpose of the job?
What are the measures of success?
What are the priorities and deadlines?
What resources are available?
What costs are acceptable?
How does this relate to other people?
7.Make an Action Plan, it differs
from a To Do List in that it focuses on the achievement of a single goal.

今晚看了好几个Blog, 讲故事的blog，我好久没看讲故事的blog了，毕竟纸上故事讲的再好，也不会像《Prison break》这样刺激的电影一样让我两小时愣是睁着眼睛睡不着。

然而终究是被感动了，心底好柔软。
“爱情就是大难不死必有后劫。 ”

电影和图像是固态的，像青铜图章在我们视网膜里狠狠的留下一个印记；然而更长久的终究是液态的文字，流水般侵蚀心中块垒，比烧酒还管用。

这又是一个“快”“慢” 和“浅”“深”的对位命题。

I am an "offensive persimist",

Some one asked me several years ago, why I was always so optimist.
I replied,"I am a persimist in nature, yet my hope of future is always optimist, absolutely optimist."

Today I read an article, I come to realize that there are so many so called "defensive persimist" among us,
yet "Expecting the worst may not make you feel any better when faced with a disappointment".

My conclusion is, I am an "offensive persimist", or "realistic optimist", same meaning to me, that is why I am always lucky. Luck is the gift for confident men.
